Pulse 2

12 September - 11 October 2026

Haridas Contemporary, Singapore

S. Urubingwaru's works are presented in 'PULSE 2', a biennial group exhibition organised by Haridas Contemporary in Singapore.

Working through painting and magical realism, Urubingwaru draws from personal narratives, the subconscious, and archetypal forms. 'The Morning We Forgot to Say Goodbye' reimagines the familiar narrative of Adam and Eve through separation and farewell, while 'Samaritan Girl', 'Wong Sabar (A Patient Guy)', and 'Hochono House' emerge from his contemplation of the hidden layers of the psyche, where personal reflection develops into archetypal forms and his own mythology.

For its second edition, 'PULSE' spotlights new artistic endeavours and understated regional practices from Singapore and beyond, bringing together works across painting, installation, and found-object sculpture.
