ara contemporary is pleased to join the inaugural edition of PAVILION Seoul, presenting new works by Alisa Chunchue and Irfan Hendrian.
Bringing together two distinct material practices, both artists explore the physicality and psychological dimensions of the human beings through materials including steel, glass, and paper. Chunchue investigates the body and its inner states through sculpture, installation, and drawing, while Hendrian pushes the formal and sculptural possibilities of paper, transforming the material into both pigment and canvas.
