Ngariung is adopted as a curatorial approach that foregrounds honesty in framing the exhibition, drawing from a Sundanese word meaning “to gather” as a simple yet resonant metaphor for bringing together diverse practices, voices, and disciplines within a single event. The theme is embraced as a space of encounter, where works from differing backgrounds and intentions sit side by side with organic ease, much like human interactions shaped by small gestures rather than the demand for absolute coherence.

Coinciding with the opening of dotHub and the celebration of Dia.Lo.Gue's 15th anniversary, Ngariung unfolds beyond a mere theme. It becomes a method, one that enables cross-disciplinary perspectives to meet, intersect, and generate new meanings around this shared idea.
